Organic shaped dinnerware created exclusively with Royal Stafford for Bloomingdales by the legendary 101-year old designer Eva Zeisel. Clean, sculptural lines and neutral colors are her signature. Evocative of a tranquil retreat - crisp white, deep indigo and a mélange of watercolor blues recall the place on the horizon where the sea meets the sky. Subtle woven textures of cotton and raffia complete the collection's breezy, relaxed ambiance.

The basis of Phases is a feminine shaped vase which enters into an experimental phase when it is shattered, as is the artist's intention. It then becomes rougher, seductive, sharp and enticing. These changes are visualized on the shattered object by smudged cracks and smoothed out folds.
